Inspired by the Biblical narrative of Job, [mis]fortune follows the pain and joy of one man’s life and how he reconciles these emotions and events with an all-powerful and loving God. Stricken with cancer that could claim her life, Karen (Carolee McPherson) uses her struggle to inspire the best in her family. But faced with the prospect of his wife’s death, how will Eric (Glenn McGehee) respond?

Individual License (One Copy)
This purchase entitles you to own one (1) physical DVD with the same rules as owning any other DVD (like Batman or Cars). It is intended for in-home use only.

Small Group & Individual Volume Licensing (Multiple Copies)
This license follows the same in-home viewing regulations as the individual license (please read Individual License above) but is volume-discounted for small group ministry purchases. Simply choose the number of DVD copies you want from the drop down list. If you need more copies than the choices allow, please contact us.

Site License (One Copy for an Audience)
Purchase this affordable site license and receive the DVD for public showings, churches, classes and other large groups.  Since Punctum Media productions are NOT covered by your CVLI, this license is required.  A site license purchase gives you permission to hold an unlimited number of group showings with the following provisions:

  • You do not require an admission charge except to recoup the cost of the event. In other words, you may not charge people to see the movie – ONLY to recoup event costs such as refreshments, etc.
  • The film is NOT edited in any way, duplicated, or used for TV or internet broadcast of any kind.
  • The showing is hosted by your paid staff, and the movie is not loaned to another ministry or organization for showings.
