Creativity and Relevance in Today’s Culture

We’ve all heard it. “The Bible just isn’t relevant anymore.” We all disagree. Why then does the message we send through our visuals often validate their belief?

In seminar we’ll take a cue from Jesus and learn to better relate to the culture around us – without compromising the Word. You’ll leave equipped with a better understanding of how to use readily available tools to improve all areas of communication – from internal to outreach.

After all, if we truly believe ours is the greatest story ever told, doesn’t it deserve to be treated as such?

About the Presenters

Aaron Sain is the Creative Director for the Tusculum Church of Christ in Nashville where he oversees communication as well as all things visual. He and his wife Laurie have two children: Adam (18) and Taylor (14).

Brian Holaway, a former Arts Minister, is a freelance designer specializing in providing media services and encouragement to churches. He and his wife Kristi have two boys, Noah (8) and Elijah (4).

In 2009, Brian and Aaron launched Punctum Media, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing visual tools to Jesus followers to aid in their efforts to spread the gospel.

A dramatic portrayal of Job1:6 – the confrontation between Satan and God that begins the tribulations of God’s friend and servant, Job.

Filming continued last weekend. We were very excited to get back behind the camera and continue a story that we believe we must tell.
